 The Church of St Thomas' the Apostle is situated on the corner of High & Jephson Streets Toowong. Parking is available for the Sunday services in the Parish Centre car park.

IMPORTANT CHANGES TO SERVICES AT ST THOMAS

Sunday 29 August will be the last Sung Evensong on a fifth Sunday, and the last regular Sunday evening Eucharist will be on Sunday 5^th September.  From 3^rd October we will have a Sung Evensong at 5.30pm on the first Sunday each month.  There will not be a regular service on the other Sunday evenings.  We will still have special evening services - Advent, Christmas, Easter, etc.

The choir will be singing at the evensong on the first Sunday each month and at the 7.30am service on the third Sunday each month.

 Living the Questions: An Introduction to Progressive Christianity.      

The Winter Series of Seminars this year, is Living the Questions, an Introduction to Progressive Christianity, where participants not only interact with one another in exploring the best of today’s theological thought, but also together

strive to explore what’s next for Christianity.

1 September – A Passion for Christ: Paul

8 September – Out into the World: Challenges facing Progressive Christians

Each Wednesday there will be a Eucharist at 5.30pm, the sessions start at 6.15pm and conclude at 7.45pm.  Tea and coffee will be available.

DATES FOR YOUR DIARY 

  Saturday 9 October -  8.00am - 1.00pm Market Day at Parish Centre

 Saturday 16 October - 2.oopm - Ecumenical Prayer Service

 Sunday 17 October - 8.30am - Dedication Festival followed by a bring-a-plate lunch.

SUNDAY SCHOOL 

There is Sunday School on each Sunday of the month during school term time. Sunday School commences at 9.30am.

When there is a 5^th Sunday children are invited to the 9.30am service where they take part in the service and there is a children address in place of the usual sermon.
