The film follows the story of Vijay Singh (Chunky Pandey), the son of Bahadur Singh alias Sher Singh (Dharmendra), a former army officer who became a bandit after being betrayed by the corrupt police. Vijay falls in love with Aarti (Neelam), the daughter of Chaudhary (Danny Denzongpa), who is none other than Daulat Singh, the leader of the bandits who was once Sher Singh's mentor.
