There are a number of events and projects to participate in and enjoy

The Percy Collins Blanket Drive 2024

​

Winter has arrived, and the plight of those sleeping rough and at the mercy of the elements becomes obvious. St Thomas’ Anglican Church invites all who want to help the women, men and animals who will be suffering this winter to bring in a blanket or Beanie to the Parish Centre of St Thomas’ Toowong. The next few weeks will be devoted to getting as many blankets, Beanies, or warm clothing as we can. The donations will then be given to organisations such as street vans or homeless centres. Some of the blankets will also be given to the RSPCA. New, old, second-hand, any blankets or Beanies or donation for those sleeping rough will be graciously received.

Community Projects

​

St Thomas' Anglican Toowong has a number of community projects it supports.

​​

Family Support ministry: We support families in need and will take donations for baby goods, maternity clothing, toiletries, stationery, black shoe shoes or sneakers.

​​

Street Pantry: We take donated no perishable goods (do not require a can opener) for our street pantry. 

​

Book Exchange: Located at the entrance to the parish gates is our book exchange. Take a book, give a book, share a book.
